It’s also about two women fighting for the top spot of ‘Maid Of Honor’ and the hilarity that can only ensue with pre-wedding madness. It’s probably one of the funniest wedding themed movies out there, so it’s a much watch if you’re looking for a laugh if your wedding planning is stressing you out! It’s rated R though, so it’s best not to watch it if your in-laws are around!

Mamma Mia is a heartwarming story about a mother and daughter planning the daughters wedding day together and dealing with all the fun and drama that comes with it. Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfriend play an amazing mother/daughter duo who sing and dance all movie long to an ABBA soundtrack. Need we say more?!
Crazy Rich Asians
Crazy, Rich, Asians took the world by storm in 2018 when it was released. With a star-studded, all Asian cast and hilariously witty dialog, this movie should definitely be on your watch list. It’s the story of love, crazy mum-in-laws, loyal friends and most importantly, extravagant weddings! The wedding scene in this movie is out of this world! After watching the movie, we highly recommend reading the book series too, while we all wait for the sequel to come out!
Runaway Bride
This 90’s classic, starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere is the second movie that these two actors acted in together (the first was Pretty Women), and watching it will show you why! Their chemistry is unbelievable. The movie is about a bride who has a habit of fleeing from the altar just before she gets married. While it is not something you should plan on doing, this movie is the perfect chick flick slash rom-com that you can watch on your pre-wedding planning movie binge!
